I've always thought and I've always been taught that it was important to put others before myself; to serve others.
But while I'm busy making everyone around me happy, (and if its possible to not sound selfish) who's looking out for me?

It's Here!
Our Friday has arrived..yay!

10:00- The View (we rarely miss it)
10:30- First pot off coffee down
5:00- Homecoming parade on Poyntz Ave.
6:00- Pep rally on Aggieville

Homecoming...D1 Style
It's the start of our homecoming week. It's a little different than a high school homecoming, to say the least. But for us lowly freshmen we don't really matter (especially because we're not the select few in a sorority...) However, we are going to attempt to attend each festivity during the week to get involved. Somehow though it seems we're just getting lost in the crowd yet again...

86 Miles
This is the distance that separates us from our best friends. The friends that know us and love us on good days and bad days.
These three girls are the reason we are so excited to go home tomorrow.
And for once we're predicting a good day!
We can't wait to catch up, tell our funny stories, but mostly, we can't wait to laugh with them the way we don't laugh with anyone else...
We'll see you in 7 hours!

It's Official
Yep, It's official, we're now bloggers! (thanks to Mama Walker)
Well here we are approaching our 55th day at Goodnow. It's getting better. It doesn't feel like some one dropped us in hell to survive by ourselves, anymore. We call this feeling our disease; our slogan? -- "Some days are better than others." So here's our October 15 evening...
4:30p.m.- Head to the Rec for our monthly class (yes, we are determined to beat the freshman 15)
5:30p.m.- Off to Kramer Dining (wonder what delicious "food" they'll be serving up tonight?)
Kait: Do you smell like Kramer?
Annie: Yea, like old people?
7p.m.- Start Homework (or rather start our nightly facebook stalking...)
Kait: Did you read her status?...
Annie: Look at this bumper sticker...
8p.m.- DEBATE!!!
Annie: Did McCain just wink?
Kait: Does he have a tumor on the left side of his face?
Annie: Obama's definitely got this in the bag
(sorry Mama Walker and Mama Reed, you might have raised a couple of democrats)
9:30p.m.-Successfully complete a solid 10 minutes of homework! (yay! that might be a record!)
10:30p.m.- Started our first blog!
Annie: Ok it's called two college roomates
Kait: Ok... wait isnt' it roomMates?
Annie: No
Kait: Isn't it two words? Room and mates? One word is missing a M
Annie: My mom just called and said we have two blog sites and one is spelled wrong...
11:08p.m. (we promised Mama Walker we'd be done by 11:15!)
Annie: Put on another pot of coffee, I have a lot of homework to get done. Kaitlin... say something funny so I can finish our blog...
Kait:??????????????????? Let's change our font... oh, they only give us 8 choices?!
